The “Culture of Self-Optimization” holds that human beings are unfinished projects in a state of constant improvement, and that they must take on the responsibility of quantifying, managing, and refining every aspect of their lives to make them as efficient and productive as possible. In this culture, the human body must strive to maximize its performance and efficiency at all times.

Due process is a safeguard that requires strict adherence to essential principles designed to protect individuals from the judicial branch. Among other things, it guarantees the right to a defense and the right to be tried by an impartial tribunal, and it reinforces legal certainty by requiring that any decision affecting rights be duly justified and grounded in law.

The digital humanities are an interdisciplinary field that combines digital and computational methods and tools with traditional humanities disciplines: history, literature, linguistics, philosophy, political science, etc. Their primary purpose is to use technology to facilitate processes such as large-scale text analysis, the emotional aspects of language, and digital preservation, among others.

At the end of this discussion, there are two ways in which states can improve people's access to basic rights.

Through direct state aid, the aim is to strengthen community institutions through government intervention and public policies focused on solving specific problems. This is seen through the provision of infrastructure, state health systems, investment in public education, etc.

Through individual empowerment, the aim is for the state to provide resources to people so they can improve their quality of life. This is seen through vouchers or cash checks to individuals and/or families, scholarships, the creation of state jobs, etc.

"Mutual destruction" is a mechanism that allows the president to dissolve the Assembly in the event of a serious political crisis or abuse of power. In exchange, early elections are called for both offices—the presidency and the Assembly—so whoever triggers this mechanism also risks losing their own position. In the meantime, the president governs by decree without an Assembly, and whoever wins completes the remaining term, not a new one
